A cup of Canadian Maple is smooth, velvety and bold!
Vancouver’s Canadian-owned tea company is celebrating July 1st with a limited-time release that brings together two of the founder’s favourite things: great tea and real Canadian maple.

JusTea, the Vancouver-based Canadian tea company behind Canada’s only farmer-direct Kenyan tea, is marking Canada Day with something worth celebrating: a limited-edition Canadian Maple tea, available starting July 1st.

Blended from whole-leaf Kenyan black tea and real Canadian maple syrup flakes, Canadian Maple delivers what its name promises, a smooth, velvety, and bold cup with notes of cozy caramel and pure maple that feel unmistakably Canadian.

Unlike maple-flavoured teas that rely on artificial ingredients, JusTea’s blend uses actual maple syrup flakes alongside natural maple flavour and hand-picked safflower petals, giving each steep a genuine depth that artificial shortcuts simply can’t replicate.

At 50mg of caffeine per cup, about half the caffeine of a standard black coffee, Canadian Maple offers a satisfying, full-bodied brew that can be enjoyed any time of day without the crash that follows a second (or third) cup of coffee.

It steeps in just three minutes and re-steeps beautifully, and for those who prefer their Canada Day beverages cold, it is equally at home over ice or steeped into a maple latte for something a little more indulgent.

A Canadian Celebration With Kenyan Roots

JusTea has been farmer-direct since the beginning. The Kenyan black tea at the heart of Canadian Maple is hand-picked by small-scale farming families in Kenya’s Nandi Hills and processed at the region’s first artisanal tea cottage factory, which is owned and operated by the farmers themselves. It is then blended with Canadian maple syrup flakes sourced directly from Quebec,

“We wanted to do something for Canada Day that felt genuinely Canadian, not just themed,” said Paul Bain, JusTea founder. “Using real Canadian maple syrup flakes in a tea that’s already farmer-direct from Kenya felt like the perfect expression of who we are, a small Canadian company that’s built something meaningful on both sides of the world. And honestly, maple makes everything better.”

Bain added that the tea was developed with Canadian summers in mind.

“Canadians know how to make the most of July, and we think a pitcher of iced Canadian Maple tea in a backyard or on a balcony is a tasty new way to celebrate and enjoy.

Limited Time Only

Canadian Maple is a limited-edition release and will be available while quantities last. It can be purchased online at justea.com, at select Canadian grocery and specialty food retailers, and on Amazon.
