DENVER, CO. – July 23, 2026 – Andrew Farhat serves as lead pastor of St. John’s Church and School Denver, a Lutheran church and school community serving the Denver metropolitan area. Farhat joined St. John’s as a campus pastor in 2018 and became lead pastor in 2021, following prior ministry service at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Roseburg, Oregon.
A graduate of Concordia Seminary with a Master of Divinity, Andrew Farhat brings theological training and parish ministry experience to his role at St. John’s. His work includes preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and executive leadership within a church-and-school setting rooted in the Lutheran tradition.
Farhat’s path to pastoral ministry followed earlier academic and professional preparation in engineering before his theological formation at Concordia Seminary. His conversion to Lutheranism came through the study of Scripture and church history, shaping a ministry focus centered on Gospel teaching, evangelism, and discipling new converts.
At St. John’s Church Denver, Farhat serves within a multisite ministry structure that includes worship, teaching, Life Groups and outreach. The institution’s ministry includes mission partnerships across 10 countries and reaches more than 500,000 people with the Gospel each year through its local and international work.
St. John’s School Denver is part of the same Lutheran community, connecting faith-based education with congregational ministry. The combined church-and-school structure brings together students, families, congregation members and ministry leaders within one institutional setting.
Farhat’s service at St. John’s reflects a ministry path shaped by theological study, pastoral formation and community leadership. His work in Denver continues a vocational focus on preaching, teaching, outreach and Lutheran education.
